The latest news with the Wheelers: Collin is currently going through his last finals at BYU!!! I can't believe I'm actually saying this, but... THE END IS NEAR!!! :) He will be putting on his cap and gown and graduating with his Bachelor's in Information Technology at the end of April!!
Along side graduation, Collin decided to accept a job offer from General Motors as a software developer. We will be making the big move to Austin, Texas where his job will be located! We first found out about his job offer in February. We celebrated by going to Outback Steakhouse for dinner. We didn't want to announce anything right awayon facebook until he had officially accepted the offer. It took some time, but after a lot of praying and faith, we got the answer that we were supposed to go to Texas. We have heard really good things about the Austin area, so we are looking forward to this next chapter in our lives. Collin has worked so hard these past 5 years to receive his academic achievements and future career. I am one proud wife for all that he has done! He is beyond amazing!!
We have decided to move to Texas on May 11th. Since we have about a month until we make the big move, I will be documenting our last moments in Utah. So you will be seeing more pictures soon. :)
As I have said before, March has been a busy month. Everything was in bloom.... including my allergies. I love spring and everything, but the only downfall is that my allergies get really bad this time of year. I had to take a little time off work because my allergies got so bad. However, I am much better now and really enjoying the nice weather we have had in Provo. Here are some highlights from March:
Celebrating Relief Society's 173rd Birthday!
We celebrate Pi Day too. :) #3.14
St. Patrick's Day, complete with green pancakes. :)
Because it was spring, I was instantly inspired to do photo shoots outside in the beautiful weather. I asked some members of my ward if they would like to do couples photo shoots and a lot of them were interested! I even had the opportunity to a maternity and a family shoot. Using a camera is so much fun! I have always loved photography. It's a great hobby. :) I have so many pictures I want to post, but I'm probably just going to post a few of the work that I have done.
Maternity shot of Max and Janai who are expecting a baby boy!
Spring Shot of Colin and Natalie. This was taken on the BYU campus
My first time experimenting with bubbles. This is such a fun shot of Dan and Jessica
I LOVE this family portrait! Kaitlin (far left) is in my ward. What a cute family!
We even had some photos taken of us by Dan and Jessica in our ward. (they are pictured above blowing bubbles.) We decided to do a vintage photo shoot. Collin was very smart to wear his suspenders. ;) The pictures turned out great! They did a great job taking our pictures. Here are a few that they have taken of us. I will talk about my spring break in my next blog. :)
Very unique, yet amazing shot where the flowers are in focus. Perfect for spring. :)
Bubbles!!!
I will love you forever.
