The leaves changing, cooler weather, the smell of apples and cinnamon, sweaters and boots... it must be fall! Fall always makes me so excited. It is my favorite season. I look forward to what this fall has to offer for us in Provo. :)
About a few weeks ago, I got to give my first lesson in our relief society. I serve as relief society 1st counselor, so I gave my lesson on a Fast Sunday. I'm not going to lie, I was really nervous about it, because I haven't given a lesson in a long time. However, I was excited, because my topic was on unity. My hope is that I delivered the message well. I had a lot of girls tell me I did a good job, so I guess I must have... That truly meant so much to me to hear everyone's praise. To me, unity is so important in the church. When we are welcoming and include others in activities, I guarantee you will be blessed for reaching out and making a friend. I have a strong testimony that unity is a message from God and I encourage everyone to follow that prompting.
About a week ago, we got to do a relief society activity at an apple orchard. This made me instantly excited about fall, because now I can make apple pie and other things with apples. :) I took home 15 apples and they were all free! :) I have been looking on pinterest like crazy for recipes. The apples tasted amazing! They were so sweet and crisp. Best of all, we got to mingle with some incredible girls from our ward.
We had a great turnout. These girls are amazing! :)

I love serving in my calling! It has made me grow a deeper love for the people in our ward. I feel more prompted to serve others and increase my spirituality. There is nothing better than knowing that you've touched someone's life in any way you can.
This past month, we received some exciting news that my sister Kelsey had her baby girl!!! It was such a surprise! I got a text from my mom on a Friday morning saying that Kelsey went into labor and another one saying that she had her baby. It all happened so fast! I am so honored and excited to be an aunt to Abigail Elise Snowden. She was born on September 19th at 6:09 am. She weighed 7 lbs, 3oz and was 19 inches long. (Ironically, that's the same height and weight as our other niece Lila when she was born.) She is a beautiful, healthy baby. I couldn't be happier for Kelsey and Jordan. It is their first time being parents, but I know that they will do a great job raising Abigail. I can't wait until the day I get to hold her in my arms. I only wish I could've been in California for my sister, but I know that I will get to meet my sweet niece in the near future. In the mean time, I admire pictures Kelsey posts on Instagram/Facebook. :)
