Comic Con 2014

After a fun, fulfilled summer, fall is quickly coming around the corner. I can't believe it is September already! Where has the time gone?? It feels like just yesterday it was New Years or something...

A little update about us, Collin just started his classes for fall semester at BYU. It seems like his classes haven't been too hard... for now. He has just one more semester and then he graduates in April!! Whoohoo! :) I can't wait until the day of his graduation. He will be looking for information technology jobs this month which makes me even more excited! He is also still working at OIT next to the BYU campus. He helps out with security and web design for computers. I recently went back to my old job at Sunrise Preschool. This year, I am working with the 3-year-old children with special needs. Let me just tell you, they are adorable! We only get 5 kids in a class, but that's all going to change once we get more coming to school. I still work at my nanny job as well. I guess you could say, I am working two jobs. :)

This last weekend, Collin and I attended what is called Comic Con in Salt Lake City. It's a convention where people come dressed up as their favorite comic book and movie, character. It also involves science fiction and TV shows that interest people. We didn't dress up, but we plan to next year.

On Friday and Saturday, we spent most of our time looking at booths and panels. Collin really likes Batman so we got to meet the voice of Batman himself: Kevin Conroy! He signed his autograph on one of Collin's Batman DVD's and we got a picture of him. It was pretty neat! We also took a bunch of other pictures from the convention. We enjoyed all the creative costumes that people wore there.

One of the storm troopers spotted me... Uh oh...

I didn't know how to pose for this picture...

   Nananananananana..... Batman!!

Merlin returning from Bermuda

I was pretty terrified to meet Slenderman

  There's the Witch King

The Panals. We got to see Michael Rosenbaum from "Smallville," Jon Heder from "Napoleon Dynamite," and Patrick Warburton from "The Emperor's New Groove."

Pictured with Kevin Conroy. Collin's eyes are closed, but I still like this picture. :)

The only picture we could get of the Tardis

                               My favorite disney movie! :)

                                 "We're the animaniacs!!"

Collin got me into "The Legend of Korra."

We had so much fun just being nerds. I wouldn't mind going again next year.
