Last week was my last week with our preschool kids. They all will be going on to kindergarten next year. Many of them I am not going to see next year. 22 out of our 29 kids qualified for regular ed kindergarten which is so impressive!! They are going on to different elementary schools in the fall. I know that all of those kids will do wonderful in the future, however, I am going to miss them so much. We got to do water activities with the kids on their last day of school. Here is a picture of me playing with bubbles.
I am making a weird face in this picture, but I LOVE the bubble effect!
The next day, I went to work to help clean up the classroom for the year. We started out the day by having a delicious breakfast potluck. It was enough to give us the strength to work hard and get our classroom organized. By the time everything was in its proper place, we said our goodbyes. It was a bittersweet farewell. I have some of the sweetest and generous co-workers. I have made close friendships which made my work environment even more enjoyable.
I have had people ask me what I am now doing with my time while I am on vacation. Well the answer is pretty simple: I am currently looking for a job. I am hoping I will have one in the near future. For now, I have been doing a lot of house cleaning, sleeping, and editing photographs. I do photography as a hobby. Since I have a nice camera, I figured I should do something with it. :) Not to mention we finally downloaded Photoshop. Collin calls it "my new toy" because I use it so much. It seriously saves your life and makes your photos look great. I have already finished with a few photo shoots for two couples in my ward. Here are a few of my favorites:
Brennen and Carissa
Tyler and Katy
