Spring is finally here!! I'm so excited about this time of year. Flowers blooming, birds chirping, and warm, sunny days ahead! However, spring comes along with colds and allergies. Last week, I was really sick and lost my voice quickly. My voice is mostly back now, but I literally sound like a man. I'm glad now that I am feeling better and trying to stay healthy. It's amazing that Collin never gets sick. He has a strong immune system!
March is officially coming to a close, but the news keeps on coming! Last week, my brother-in-law Miles announced that he is engaged to his girlfriend Mikaela! Which means.... WE ARE GETTING A SISTER!! :) Their wedding is in August in the Sacramento Temple. This will give us an opportunity to go to California this summer! I have missed California a lot!!
We are so happy for Miles and Mikaela! They will be sealed for eternity together in the temple. It is truly a blessing. I believe strongly in marriage and that it is ordained of God. I know that he has brought Collin and I together and now Miles and Mikaela. They are so perfect for each other! We love them and can't wait for another Wheeler family gathering in August. :)

Introducing... Auntie Kaitlin and Uncle Collin!! :)
Oh my!!! All I can say is I am one happy girl today! :) March has already been an exciting month for the Wheeler and Carter households. As they say in a children's primary song, spring has brought us such a nice surprise. :)
On March 4th, 2014, my sister-in-law Jocelyne gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Which means.... COLLIN AND I ARE NOW AUNT AND UNCLE!!! :) Jocelyne and her husband Paul are proud parents of their daughter Lila Jane Heinzen. She was born at 9:26pm weighing 7 lbs, 3 oz and 19 inches long. She is the most adorable baby I have ever laid eyes on!
Even though I haven't met her yet, I am already in love with this baby. We are planning to go to Colorado to meet her in person, but we're not sure when yet.
If this isn't enough news, my sister Kelsey just announced that she's PREGNANT!!! Here is their adorable announcement.
I had so much fun taking their pictures. We had so many cute ideas that came together nicely.
Jordan and Kelsey told us they were pregnant back in January and completely surprised us. She waited until after her second appointment to announce her pregnancy on facebook. He/she is very healthy and active according to what Kelsey has said. We're getting a niece/nephew in September! :) I'm so excited for Kelsey! I have looked after her since she was in diapers and now she is having a baby of her own! It's CRAZY!!
I'm sure you have already guessed, but Collin and I are going to be Aunt and Uncle TWICE this year!! It's amazing that both our sisters are having babies at around the same time. I guess it's just meant to be. ;) It almost makes me want to have a kid of my own. :) I know now is not our time to be parents, but I know that Heavenly Father will bless us when the timing is just right. He has blessed both of our sisters at the right time in their lives. I honestly can't wait until the day when we have our first child! Until then, we are enjoying life and our time together.
